David Maus Foundation

It has been a dream of mine for many years to start a Foundation that gives to charities helping children every day. Since 2005, the David Maus Foundation has given opportunity, hope, and resources to charitable organizations serving children with life-threatening medical conditions and their families. We began with a small event and have grown over the years with great community partners to continue with our efforts to help as many kids as we can.” – David Maus

Our Mission Our First Event How We Continue To Help

The mission of the David Maus Foundation is to generate funds and provide awareness and opportunity to charitable organizations dedicated to giving children confronting various forms of hardships and their families a better quality of life and the best possible care.

In 2005, the David Maus Foundation held its first fundraising event, the 1st Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament. Held at Alaqua Country Club, the event raised $40,000 for local Central Florida charities, Camp Boggy Creek and the Boys and Girls Club of Seminole County. Since then we have moved the tournament to Falcon’s Fire Golf Club in Kissimmee and with the assistance of both Falcon’s Fire and Gaylord Palms, we have raised over $200,000 for the Ronald McDonald House, Children’s Miracle Network, and Give Kids the World.

Through different fundraising events, the David Maus Foundation has been involved in the Ronald McDonald’s 2007 Clambake and Share A Night Events and the Give Kids the World 19th Annual Black and White Gala. Coming in 2008, the David Maus Foundation will be teaming up with World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. for the Bacon, Bagels and Biceps Brunch as the David Maus Foundation will donate 100% of the proceeds from the event to the Make A Wish Foundation on March 30, 2008.
