Batista

David Michael Bautista was born on January 18, 1969. A former bouncer, he was trained by Wild Samoan Afa and made his wrestling debut in 1997. Batista started his career working for Afa's WXW promotion under the name Kahn. Shortly after, he signed a WWE developmental deal and wrestled in Ohio Valley Wrestling. While there, he was known as Leviathan and Demon of the Deep. He would debut for the WWE in May 2002. A founding member of Evolution alongside with Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton, Batista won the World Heavyweight Championship for the first time at Wrestlemania XXII. After having to vacate the title due to injury, he regained the World Heavy Championship at the 2006 Survivor Series. Batista held the belt a third time after loosing it to Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIII - He regained the belt a few months later when he beat the Great Khali and Rey Mysterio at Unforgiven 2007.

Rey Mysterio

Oscar Gutierrez (better known as Rey Mysterio) was born on December 11, 1974 in San Diego, California. Trained for pro wrestling by his uncle, he began his career in Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) in Mexico before debuting in the United States in 1995 for the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) promotion. From ECW he wrestled with World Wrestling (WCW), where he led the popular Cruiserweight division, having won the title a record-breaking 8 times over the span of his career. In 2002 Rey was signed to the WWE, and went on to win the Tag Team Title with several partners before ultimately winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXII.

Candice Michelle

If there’s one thing Candice Michelle is determined to prove, it’s that she’s not just another pretty face. And she seemed to prove it by winning the WWE Women’s Championship and holding on to it for almost three months.

Since becoming a WWE Diva, Candice has maintained her beautiful image while continuing to improve her grappling skills. She’s worked with legendary Four Horsemen enforcer Arn Anderson to hone her in-ring skills, and her development is evident every time she steps into the ring. From physical battles to the vaunted Lingerie Pillow Fight, Candice is not afraid to mix it up in anyway. Her training and her heart have paid off with the Women’s Championship.

Candice embodies the spirit of a true WWE Diva, with her combination of good looks, in-ring ability and bubbly personality, this self-professed “Cheese Head” from Wisconsin could someday be considered one of the greatest WWE Divas ever.

Jimmy Hart

When it comes to wrestling managers, few can claim the success of Jimmy Hart. Known as “The Mouth of the South”, Hart arrived in WWE just prior to the first Wresltemania where he stood in the corners of Hall of Famer and Intercontinental Champion Greg “The Hammer” Valentine and King Kong Bundy. At Wrestlemania, not only was Hart in Valentine’s corner for his title defense against Hall of Famer Junkyard Dog, but he also seconded King Kong Bundy to th erring for his lightning quick match against SD Jones.

He also became known for his trademark megaphone that he brought to the ring to shout instructions to his Superstars. On more than one occasion that same megaphone was used as a foreign object to produce wins. In addition to leading Valentine to the Intercontinental Championship, Hart managed the Honky Tonk Man to the same title. With Hart in his corner, the Honky Tonk Man held the Intercontinental Championship for a record 15 months.

Additionally, Hart led tag teams like the Hart Foundation, the Nasty Boys and Money, Inc. to the World Tag Team Championship. He was even the manager of the Glamour Girls when they captured the Women’s Tag Team Championship.



Matt Hardy

In the ring, Matt Hardy lives his motto: “I will not die.” Time and time again he has sacrificed his body for both the enjoyment of the fans, and the sport which he has loved so dearly for his entire life.

Matt came to the WWE in 1998 as a tag team specialist, teaming up with his brother Jeff to form the The Hardys. The Hardys went on to become five-time World Tag Team Champions in WWE before breaking up in 2002.

In 2003 Hardy endured an up and down rivalry with Rey Mysterio. Hardy got the best of Rey Mysterio in a controversial Championship match at WrestleMania 19. A month later; however, Mysterio got his revenge, defeating Hardy for the Cruiserweight Championship on Smackdown.

Since then Matt Hardy has had difficulty with long-time girlfriend, Lita, and fellow WWE Superstar, Edge. Matt continues to remain focused on wreaking havoc on Edge and Lita every chance he gets.

Mr. Kennedy

Give the bodacious loudmouth Mr. Kennedy credit: He sure knows how to make an entrance! Mr. Kennedy began his WWE career in 2005 dishing out talk and giving plenty of fighting power to back up his smack. The laundry list of former World Champions and future Hall of Famers he has defeated reads like a Who’s Who of the elite in WWE: Kane, Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, Batista and Shawn Michaels, among others. But he’s not done, he will not be content till he is a World Champion, till then just remember his name. That name is Mrrrrr.

Carlito

Carlito spits in the face of people who don’t want to be cool, and apparently, many WWE Superstars fall into that category. He made is dramatic debut into the WWE in 2004 when he defeated John Cena for the United States Championship in his very first night on SmackDown.

Since then Carlito has worked his way into Raw eventually losing to Ric Flair at Unforgiven in 2005. Since his loss, the cool Carribean has turned up the charm in the locker room, cozying up to Divas such as former Women’s Championship Trish Status and Torrie Wilson. Carlito is full of potential that has yet to be fully realized.

Miz

If you ask self-proclaimed chick magnet The Miz, all the ladies want him and all the guys want to be him. And, quite frankly, it’s hard to argue otherwise.

A devoted WWE fan his whole life, Mike “The Miz” competed in the fourth season of “Tough Enough” and eventually gained a spot on ECW. The Miz continues to run the TV Reality circuit appearing on Real World/Road Rules and a special edition of Fear Factor.

John Morrison

John Morrison, formerly known as Johnny Nitro, officially renamed himself John Morrison on July 17, 2007. Shortly thereafter, Morrison found unexpected success alongside another brazen, rising star in the Land of the Extreme, the Miz. The unlikely tandem secured the Tag Team Championship on Smackdown territory following the unique talent exchange arrangement between SmackDown and ECW managing officials.

And Morrison has good reason to be confident; he has captured the Intercontinental Championship and was drafted into the ECW during the Supplemental Draft on WWE.com.

Beth Phoenix

After missing more than a year with a broken jaw, Beth Phoenix made her return to Raw on the July 9th broadcast becoming teammates with Jillian.

Two weeks after Beth’s first appearance Trish Stratus officially introduced Beth as the newest Raw Diva. Beth then welcomed herself to Raw by once again attacking Mickie James from behind. The following week, Beth made her in-ring debut, teaming with Torrie Wilson to defeat Candice and Victoria. Since then Beth has suffered other injuries causing her to be sidelined for over a year.

Kelly Kelly

A former bikini model for Hawaiian Tropic and Venus Swimwear, Kelly Kelly for the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) brand becoming the youngest diva in all of sports-entertainment. A self-proclaimed exhibitionist, she put on strip shows dubbed “Kelly Kelly’s Exposé” for ECW fans, leading to feuds with boyfriend Mike Knox. She made her ECW in-ring debut on the August 22, 2006 episode of ECWin a losing effort as part of a six-person Mixed tag team match. She later led Diva faction “Extreme Exposé”, a spin-off to the previous Exposé segment involving not just Kelly but Brooke and Layla performing choreographed dances in the ECW ring. The group has since broken up, leaving Kelly to feud with Layla.



Torrie Wilson

Torrie Wilson has been one of WWE’s hottest Divas since her debut in 2001. She has been turning heads ever since. In 2007, Wilson added entrepreneur to her list of achievements. Her men’s and women’s clothing boutique, Jaded, opened in the Woodlands, Texas in mid-November.

Torrie may not be a Women’s Champion, but she does hold one major distinction. She participated in the most purchased match on WWE 24/7 online – a Bikini Contest vs. Sable on Judgement Day 2002.



Raven-Symone

Raven-Symoné Pearman was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but at a young age moved to New York. While there Raven signed with the Ford Modeling Agency. In the late 80’s, early 90’s Raven read for and got a starring role as Olivia on the last three seasons of "The Cosby Show" (1984). After the show finished its run, she decided to try music. In 1993, she became the youngest person ever to sign with MCA Records. She also went back to acting with a starring role in "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" (1992), alongside Mark Curry and a small role in the TV mini-series "Queen" (1993) (mini). After another small role in the feature film The Little Rascals (1994) and the role of Goldilocks in the TV series "Happily Ever After: Fairy Tales for Every Child" (1995), "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" ended.

Raven's singing career was doing well and she landed a role in Doctor Dolittle (1998) alongside Eddie Murphy and a made-for-TV movie called Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century (1999) (TV). She also starred in Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), but she was not available to do Zenon: The Zequel (2001) (TV). However, the Walt Disney Company, which made the Zenon movies, wanted her back to do a pilot for a new Disney TV show called "Absolutely Psychic," in which she would be a supporting character. She impressed them so much that they changed the show's premise to be about her and the show's name was changed to "That's So Raven" (2003). After the show was a hit she did the made-for-TV movie The Cheetah Girls (2003) (TV) and recorded a new album. A movie based on "That's So Raven" may be in the works.
